She received a B.S. degree from the University of Alabama in 1990, with a major in Corporate Finance and Business Administration. After her graduation from law school, Annette served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Stuart Leach, Presiding Judge in the Tenth Judicial Circuit in Birmingham, Alabama for two years.
